CNC Machinists
Machine Operators will produce production parts to print on state-of-the-art CNC Machines for the Defense, Mining, Construction and Power Generation Industries. Requirements include related CNC machining experience on horizontal and vertical boring mills; some of ours have up to 60 feet of travel. Previous experience running machine tools and/or related Vo-Tech/Schooling educational background is required. Basic math skills and working knowledge of blueprints is a must. Overhead crane experience is a major plus as we handle components up to 100,000 pounds.
Machine Shop Supervisors
We specialize in large capacity bridge mill and boring mill work for the Mining, Defense, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, and Machine Tool industries. 4 years of direct experience in a machine shop supervisory role. Experience with low volume highly engineered product is preferred. Hands on machining background is a must. Responsibilities include direction, oversight, cleanliness and accountably for machine shop operations. It requires strong organizational and communication skills. This position will work closely with manufacturing engineering for process support and the quality department to ensure customer expectations are met. Experience with overhead crane rigging and handling is also a plus.
Manufacturing Engineer
Supports manufacturing by planning, directing and coordinating manufacturing processes with machine shop operations. Typical duties include preparing and estimating machine cycle times and costs, programming CNC mills, developing manufacturing methods, selecting and requisitioning of tools for efficient manufacturing, designing and building fixtures for CNC machines, training CNC machine operators on new jobs, and preparing detailed manufacturing instructions and documents. Requirements include an associates degree in a related technical area (four-year degree preferred), two years of related experience, strong CNC programming and tooling knowledge, and good communication and math skills. Must be well versed in machining methods on castings and welded fabrications and have strong tooling knowledge.
Maintenance Technician
Primary responsibilities in providing preventive maintenance and repair maintenance on CNC horizontal boring mills and performing other general facilities maintenance services. Must have strong hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC and electrical background. A minimum of three years related experience and/or a two-year maintenance degree/related tech schooling. A solid working knowledge of various measuring devices, use of hand/air tools and knowledge of welding equipment. Ability to work in small spaces, aerial lift, forklift and working at heights, 40 feet max.
CMM Operator
Completes accurate inspections and measurements of large machined, fabricated, and welded parts to confirm compliance with customer part specifications and quality standards using Coordinated Measuring Machines (CMM) as well as other technical equipment and visual inspection processes. This position requires three to five years of related experience. Candidates must have specific knowledge and proficiency in the use of PC-DMIS, gauge calibration, the ability to read and interpret blue prints and engineering drawings, good math and communication skills, PPAP experience and ISO 9001. FMEA experience is also preferred.
Welders
Welders will fabricate large parts for the Defense, Mining, Machine Tool and Power Generations Industries. We primarily fabricate carbon steel products with weights up to 100,000 lbs. Typical fillet sizes range from ¼” up to 1”. Previous experience with mig and flux core welding and/or related Vo-Tech/Schooling educational background is required. Working knowledge of blueprints is a must. Overhead crane experience is a major plus as we handle components up to 100,000 pounds. Aluminum and Tig welding is a plus, as is knowledge of certification to AWS D1.1.
